Automatic Caisson Excavation Machine/Tunnel Boring Machine

The shield tunneling machine is a specialized machine used for caisson excavation, specifically designed for caisson construction. It can automatically excavate soil at the caisson bottom, transport waste, and correct deviations intelligently. The caisson is a widely used foundation construction technique in the building industry, necessary for bridge, anchor, shield tunnel, and mining shaft projects. Traditional caisson construction often relies on manual and semi-mechanized excavation or high-pressure water to break up soil layers, followed by slurry pumps to remove the slurry. The former has a long construction period, high labor intensity, and significant safety risks, while the latter is inefficient and heavily polluting. Both methods can cause uneven settlement and tilting of the caisson. This machine uses intelligent construction, featuring simultaneous soil excavation, foot trimming, rotation, and waste collection and transport, as well as deviation correction during excavation, greatly improving construction efficiency. This machine is entirely under Chinese intellectual property with a Chinese invention patent: 2018107210757.
