A semi-automatic press-fit machine for a slider part in a double toggle switch, which was previously manually inserted, causing finger pain, and operators were unwilling to perform the task. Now a semi-automatic press-fit machine is designed, with a vibratory bowl feeder automatically supplying sliders, manual placement of the housing, and automatic pressing of the slider into the housing upon triggering a micro switch. Since the slider must be inclined to be inserted, the housing is positioned at an inclined angle, and simulations confirm the operability. The slider is pushed into the housing with an inclination, and then the rear part is pressed in. It is now in use, with a 30% increase in productivity compared to manual assembly.
