Design and Simulation of a Combined Machine for Uprooting Cotton Stalks, Pulverizing Residual Film, and Recovering Residual Film [Includes SW 3D Modeling and 7 CAD Drawings] In Xinjiang, wide-film cotton planting technology is commonly applied, generating about 100,000 tons of residual film annually. If not timely recovered, this residual film left in the fields can cause serious soil and environmental pollution. In addition, a large amount of straw in the fields in autumn significantly affects residual film recovery. If the film is directly collected by machine, it quickly fills the residual film storage box due to the mixture of straw and other debris, which reduces operational efficiency. Therefore, after harvesting, it is crucial to first separate straw from the residual film to be recovered in order to minimize the impact of field straw on the mechanized collection of residual film. Cotton stalk resources, as an important biomass energy source, have a massive output in China, and recycling them alone can yield certain benefits. This paper analyzes the current domestic and international machines for uprooting cotton stalks, pulverizing, and recovering residual film, and makes specific adjustments to existing machines based on the actual situation in Xinjiang, leading to the design of a new machine model. It introduces the working principle and structure of the combined machine, analyzes the transmission relation, the mechanism for cotton stalk crushing and field return, and the film lifting mechanism for residual film recovery, and summarizes the entire process.
